visayi durjana, sada Kama-rata
Kichu nahi mora guna

Gopinatha, amara bharasa tumi
tomara carane, loinu sarana,
tomara Kinkora ami

Gopinatha, Kemone sodhibe more
na jani bhakati, Karme jada-mati
porechi somsara-ghore

Gopinatha, sakali tomara maya
nahi mama bala, jnana sunirmala
swadhina nahe e Kaya

This song is a passionate prayer by Bhaktivinoda Thakura to his Lord Gopinath. Realizing his perilous worldly existence he refers to his lord as the “Ocean of Mercy” and begs for an eternal place at His divine feet.
